The Smart Charger from Bright Way Group is an advanced charger that will charge a 12 volt sealed lead acid battery at 7 amps. This will charge any 12v SLA/AGM battery with a capacity ranging from 28Ah capacity to 250Ah.

This charger has 4 modes and the charger will automatically choose the most appropriate based on the Smart Analysis function:

  • Maintenance Charging: prevents battery from over charging, while allowing the charger to remain connected to the battery indefinitely without harm to the battery or charger
  • Recondition Mode: uses a 15.7 volt charge to break up sulfate deposits built up over time
  • Power Supply Mode: directly connect 12v devices to the charger, using it to provide direct power
  • Cold Weather Mode: modifies the charging approach to allow for charging near or below freezing temperatures

Additionally, this charger has an LED indicator to display charge levels, and will automatically shut off after 60 hours of charging to prevent over-charging. It provides polarity protection in case the connectors are reversed accidentally. 

It comes with two connectors, with a total reach of 14 feet from the AC outlet to the battery:
